Jeannie Longo didn’t make the cut for the London Olympic cycling team. The Frenchwomen who will be there are Pauline Ferrand Prevot (Rabobank), Aude Biannic (Bretagne) and Audrey Cordon (Vienne Futuroscope).
Longo is now 53 years old. She finished in fifth place last week, one minute behind the leader at the Saint-Amand-les-Eaux time trial. She finished the road race in 12th place.
This will be the first Olympics she has missed since 1984.
