LottoNL-Jumbo’s Dutchman finishes the race only two seconds behind Van Garderen
Wilco Kelderman (LottoNL-Jumbo) grazed victory in Vuelta a Andalucia Ruta Ciclista Del Sol’s stage-4, a 21-km ITT with start and finish in Alhaurín de la Torre (Spain) on Saturday, February 20th. The ITT Dutch National champion rode his Aquila CV to clock a 27:07 time, only two seconds slower than USA’s Tejay Van Garderen and five seconds faster than Jérome Coppel.
The good team’s performance was rounded-out by Maarten Tjallingii’s twelfth position and Steven Kruijswijk thirteenth, both 35 seconds down to winner Van Garderen.
