Mark Cavendish Joins Dream Team of Champions Inspiring Beking 2023

The multi-time Manx sprinter has embraced the project to inspire young people to become more sustainable.
Monaco, 23 November 2023 – Among the many stars of international cycling, Beking is proud to announce a special guest: Mark Cavendish.
The 2009 Copenhagen World Champion and multiple Tour de France green jersey winner, who has always been sensitive to sustainable mobility causes and the support of important social activities, commented on his participation in the upcoming event:
“Beking Monaco is only in its third edition and has already experienced exponential growth. I am proud to be part of this social platform to promote sustainable mobility, inspire and give back to the community a sense of livability in our cities.”

A proud and attentive father, Cavendish also spoke of the educational role of a project dedicated to the growth of children and the development of a healthy and virtuous relationship with the bicycle as a mode of transport, but also for fun.

“As sportsmen and women, we are lucky to be able to do what we love,” he continued. “So to be able to inspire children and young people by giving them the opportunity to spend a day cycling is a great privilege for me. As a parent, I try to show my children the many ways they can enjoy sport, especially cycling, whether it is for fitness, mobility, enjoyment or competition.”

One of the greatest and most victorious sprinters of our time, he therefore joins the team of talent that is preparing for the third edition of Beking, scheduled for Sunday 26 November, with many new features and surprises.

The date for all fans is Port Hercule, where they will be able to watch exciting competitions and cheer on their idols once again, including the Manx champion.
