The New York Times reported today that she turned herself in.
Tony Martin, who crashed into the sign, said “I saw the lady, I saw the sign, but there was no time to react.”
The sign is a mix of French and German which translates to “Go, granddad-grandma”.
How she was identified has not yet been made clear.
Deputy Director Pierre-Yves Thouault, of ASO, threatened to sue her. “We are doing this so that the tiny minority of people who do this don’t spoil the show for everyone.”
