CONI, the Italian Cycling Commission, is looking into allegations that arose during Operation Puerto about Mario Cipollini. They have opened an investigation. Besides Cipollini, Jaksche said Fuentes told him that he had worked with the best soccer teams.
Evidence is showing that Cipollini was a client of Fuentes from 2001 to 2004. Even his house address in Lucca, Italy was on the back of the tables of prescription drugs. Italy has appointed a lawyer who will decide this which on the direction to go. Cipollini is not officially part of the case, so he may not talk. From the notes it looks like from 2001-2004 Cipo paid 130,000 euros for the doctor, medicines and attorney fees. There was a bank account in Switzerland which was seized by the Guardia Civil a few years later.
