Team M2M (Mountain 2 Mountain) is an organization that works to empower women and children in Afghanistan.
Shannon Galpin, founder of M2M, rode her bike in Afghanistan in 2009. She was the first woman to do so. Women are not allowed to ride a bike in Afghanistan. She repeated her ride in 2010.
There will be a nationwide event in the US on October 8, 2011. Denver will host a celebration ride on October 15.
