Paralympic cyclist to race with pro road team

Monique van der Vorst has signed with the Rabobank women’s team.  She formerly raced as a hand cyclist and wheelchair athlete, winning silver medals in the Paralympics.  She lost the use of her legs after an ankle surgery when she was a teenager.  Last year she crashed during training and began to get the feeling back in her legs and can now walk again.  She will be racing with road race silver medalist Marianne Vos.  Monique goal is the 2016 Olympics in Rio.
