Michael Rasmussen has been testifying about doping practices while at team Rabobank.
It’s reported that team officials knew what they were doing and consented.
He’s said that Eric Breukink and Theo De Rooy, team directors in 2007 all agreed that he, Menchov and Boogerd were to have blood transfusions. He says the technicians knew but tried to distance themselves. Boogerd is reported to have said they did their own transfusions but raced the Tour relatively clean.
Menchov has denied everything.
De Rooy says riders could use banned substances but it wasn’t a very organized formula from the Rabobank team.
