The Italian Anti-Doping committee has handed down a 12-year suspension to Riccardo Ricco. He was caught doping with EPO in the 2008 Tour de France. (You can see it on his face on the Tour podium photo.) He was also caught blood doping again in February 2011. This pretty much ends his cycling career. The Italians followed recommendations from Olympic committee. Last February he was hospitalized with a blood clot from a botched blood transfusion.
