Team LottoNL-Jumbo’s Slovenian rode to second position in Alto da Fóia’s uphill finish
Team LottoNL-Jumbo’s Primoz Roglic placed second in Portugal, in Volta ao Algarve stage 2, 189,3 km from Lago to Alto da Fóia uphill finish on Thursday, February 16th. The 27-year-old Slovenian attacked on the 9-km final climb with his Oltre XR4, outdistancing Michal Kwiatkowski and Amaro Antunes and eventually sprinting for victory with Irish Daniel Martin, who topped the stage.
Roglic is currently second in the GC as well, with a 4-second gap from Martin himself, and third in the KOM classification.
