Northwave’s Italian athlete Davide Martinelli, took the silver medal at the ITT Under 23 European Championships, in Nyon (Switzerland), on Friday July 11th.
The Italian rider, equipped with Extreme Tech Plus shoes, posted a time of 34:19 over the 26,9 Km course, 0:24 behind gold medallist Swiss Stefan Küng, whilst Russian Alexander Evtushenko claimed the third spot.
Current Italian Under23 ITT National Champion, Martinelli’s performance bodes very well in the perspective of the Under 23 World Championships, in Ponferrada (Spain).
On Sunday, July 13th, Northwave will be represented in the European Championships Road Race by another Team Colpack’s rider, Iuri Filosi.
