I had my last cappuccino in Italy this morning before leaving.
Today I drove the route over the first pass, the Col de Lombard
which was a really long, narrow climb, filled with Italian cycling
fans all on their bikes.
I stopped on the Col de la Bonette-Restafond, the highest
road in Europe.

A group led by Dessel came through first and he won the stage.
They were followed by the yellow jersey group.
Evans is 08 seconds behind and Kohl 07 so they could make that up tomorrow or in the final time trial.
Christian Valverde lost a lot of time today and is now 3’15” behind.
