Thanks to the USADA investigation and Leipheimer’s coming clean with his team, Omega Pharma, they have decided to terminate his contract immediately.  He had admitted to having used EPO while at the Postal team and Rabobank and having blood doped while at the Discovery team.

Leipheimer’s future at Omega Pharma is uncertain at the moment after he admitted having doped.  The team didn’t know about it.  They are waiting for the UCI to make a decision whether to accept the ban and in the meantime have put him on a non-active status.
