After additional doping tests from the summer Olympics, silver medalist David Rebellin and Stefan Schumacher were found to have doped. Schumacher is already serving a two year ban for positive tests at the Tour de France.
Armstrong is back racing at the Tour de Gila in southern New Mexico and is doing well. Levi Leipheimer is currently in the lead.
According to L’Equipe, as per results from the Blood Passports, the UCI will be announcing the names of cyclists suspected of doping on May 9, just before the start of the Giro d’Italia. They want to be absolutely sure before pointing fingers at anyone.
