Tinkoff-Saxo and Specialized present a unique charity auction of Alberto Contador’s S-Works Tarmac. The highest bidder will become the proud owner of the bike that Alberto Contador rode to victory in the 2014 Vuelta a España. Specialized will donate the entire amount to the non-profit Matonyok Parents Trust Orphanage that the riders and staff of Tinkoff-Saxo visited during their team-building expedition to Kilimanjaro last November.
The online auction will take place on the Tinkoff-Saxo website (www.tinkoffsaxo.com). It is set to start at 08:00 CET on Wednesday, January 28th, 2015 and will finish at 20:00 CET on Sunday, February 1st, 2015. Bids will start at €3,000 (three thousand euros).
