From June 30th to July 14th, as part of Tinkoff heads to Tour de France, another selection of riders will head to altitude in Livigno for a two-week training camp to prepare for the coming objectives in the second half of the season. In addition, thanks to the popular Tinkoff Academy, hotel clients will have the unique opportunity to feel part of the world’s top professional cycling team, in attractive one-, three- and five-day packages.
After a successful stay in 2015, ten riders will return to BivioLife Livigno and stay at the Alpen Village Hotel in order to carry out another all-important high-altitude training camp. The riders include Daniele Bennati, Manuele Boaro, Adam Blythe, Oscar Gatto, Michael Gogl, Ivan Rovny, Juraj Sagan, Erik Baška, Matteo Tosatto and Nikolay Trusov.
Known as “Little Tibet”, the Livigno area is the point of reference for all athletes that want to train in high altitudes. In addition to riding on the roads of Livigno and on several alpine passes such as Stelvio (highest pass at 2,757 meters), Foscagno, Forcola, Gavia and Mortirolo, Tinkoff’s riders will take advantage of the world-class infrastructure BivioLife Livigno has to offer.
