Miskolc, Saturday 18th of August – In an elimination race led by team CCC Sprandi Polkowice all day long, Manuel Belletti, though dropped in category 1 Bükk climb, clang to his teammates and managed to save his yellow jersey. Bar an incident, he should be able to wear it on the final podium in Kazincbarcika. At the finish, German rider Nikodemus Holler (Bike Aid) surprised the peloton and went for victory alone, leaving Manuel Belletti and his main rival Kamil Malecki (CCC Sprandi Polkowice) on the two other steps of the podium.
