Today’s last stage of the Tour of California 2012 was a quick race from Beverly Hills to downtown LA. A small break stayed away for four laps but was swallowed by the peloton with of course a sprint win by Peter Sagan, followed by Tom Boonen. Robert Gesink, who beat Colombian Atapuma on the last kilometer yesterday at Mt Baldy hung onto the yellow jersey and the overall win.
The other top two jerseys were: King of the Mountains: Sebastian Salas; Sprint Jersey: Peter Sagan.
