Team Colombia offers its most sincere sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims of the tragedy happened today, Monday May 19th, in Fundacion, Colombia, where 32 children lost their lives in a bus arson.
In respect of the national day of mourning declared by Colombia’s President Juan Manuel Santos, the team will wear an armband in mourn of the victims during tomorrow’s Giro d’Italia 11th stage, Modena-Salsomaggiore. In addition, Giro’s organizers RCS Sport showed great sensibility in disposing a moment of silence at the start in Modena, suspending music and animation during the Team’s presentation on the signature stage.
