Armstrong was given a 30 day extension by the USADA to contest the drug charges. He was facing a deadline of this Saturday.
Armstrong’s attorney pulled his temporary restraining order request and the judge is reviewing the request for an injunction.
USADA Chief Travis Tygart expects Armstrong’s lawsuit to be dismissed. He expects the court to uphold the Olympic rules. Bruyneel is not covered by the extension so he’ll have to decide by Saturday whether to accept the sanctions or to challenge. He was unavailable for comment.
